ScreenVirtuoso is a video recording software and conversion tool
simultaneously. It takes only few seconds to record a screen
activity, add sound, annotate video, save it as AVI file, and
optionally convert AVI to SWF (Macromedia Flash), MPEG-1,
MPEG-2, VCD, SVCD and DVD compatible formats. It can be
used to produce demonstrations, tutorials and e-training videos.

Conversion between multimedia formats is even simpler!
ScreenVirtuoso also enables capture streaming video when other
video capture tools fail! For example, Internet streaming videos
and Internet webcams. Software captures video from screen and
nothing can prevent it to do so!
Unlike other software ScreenVirtuoso has the Prevent Black
Screen option, which protects the result files from 'black screen'
content, in case of DirectX or DirectShow drawing (Media Player,
DVD, Web and other streaming videos).

computer programs can be used has become a real challenge
against a background of software complexity growth. The ability to
define a screen region or separate window to capture, total control
over the entire process of recording (speed, quality, the flow i.e.
stopping, pausing / resuming, on-the-fly area shifting), annotating
frames with shaped text comments, proper capturing of DirectX-
output and hotkeys support prove ScreenVirtuoso to be an
irreplaceable tool for any kind of computer demo or related work.
Along with the ability to use different video compressors installed
on a system, the program also allows uncompressed data
recording to avoid quality loss. Professional version of the
program has a unique possibility to convert the output .AVI file to
MPEG1/2 VCD, SVCD, DVD and SWF (Macromedia Flash)
formats. Saving video in. SWF-format reduces the target file size
dramatically. This becomes immensely important when publishing
a tutorial online.
One of the great features of this utility, is an option to remove
'black screen' effect while capturing from Windows Media Player,
DVD, TV Tuner, Internet or any other kind of streaming video.

System Requirements
Apart from having enough machine resources to play video files
ScreenVirtuoso has no special software or hardware requirements
and will perform on any computer running under Windows 95 or
higher. Additionally, Internet Explorer 4.01 or above is required in
order for program's HTML-based help system to perform properly.
You may also need to download and install free Macromedia Flash
player from Macromedia site to play .SWF files.
