Bei dem Programm LanTools handelt es sich um eine n│tzliche
Sammlung von Tools f│r den Windows-Server. LanTools
synchronisiert taeglich die Uhrzeit des Servers mit
Zeitservern (Timeserver) im Internet. Ueber Erfolg und/oder
Misserfolg dieser Synchronisation koennen Sie sich oder
Ihren Servicepartner per eMail unterrichten lassen.
LanTools verschickt t⌡glich eine Datei per eMail, z.B. das
Datensicherungsprotokoll. Nach erfolgreichem Versenden kann
diese Datei durch Anh⌡ngen von Datum und Uhrzeit umbenannt
werden (damit das zu verschickende Protokoll nicht immer
groe»er wird). Bei Win2000-Servern heissen die Protokolle
backup01.log bis backup10.log. Auch dies wird
beruecksichtigt. LanTools │berpr│ft in regelmae»igen
Abstaenden den freien Plattenspeicher und kann alle Dateien
in verschiedenen Verzeichnissen auf einem FTP-Server
automatisch zu einer bestimmten Uhrzeit auf den lokalen PC
kopieren.
