AnimateIt Screen Saver Toolkit lets you construct a multimedia
animated screen saver from your static images, animated GIF images,
and sound files. The program supports GIF transparency and animation,
letting you display, in addition to a traditional slideshow, animated
sprites moving across the screen. Many aspects of the behavior of the
sprites can be individually controlled and fine-tuned, resulting in
professional-looking, realistic animated scenes that rival or exceed
the quality of many commercial dedicated screen savers. The program
supports many popular image file formats, including JPEG, GIF, TIF,
and BMP file formats. Sound file support includes MPEG Audio (MP1,
MP2, MP3, and MPP files), MIDI, WAV, and CD Audio. This screen saver
is completely customizable, allowing you to specify an unlimited
number of individual images or entire directories of images.
Additional features include over fifty slideshow transition effects,
image captioning, and password protection. The smooth, realistic
animation, along with the capability for multi-layered ambient sounds
provides for a rich, unparalleled multimedia experience. The Power
