Powa Station is a small collection of keygens and cracks I have made. =
I have originally written these keygens in ASM (DOS) and wants to find =
an easy way to organise them.=

I may also include some DIY cracks on how to patch programs using a hexeditor.=
In addition, if I find some really good keygens/cracks by others, I may also=
include them with full credits to the original persons who have made them.=

2.  What are the minimum requirements?=

It works on most win95 and win98 machines.  It shouldn't require any other=
files.  But if you get any error messages, then please report the bug.=
It does not run on Windows NT.=

3.  What did I use to write this program?=
..=
I have chosen O'Basic because of the ease in maintaining and updating new=
entries.  Win32ASM is too tedious, and Visual Basic 6 may be too bulky.=

The version of O'Basic used is appended to the version number of Powa Station.=
..=
e.g. v1.00.97.028 means Powa Station is currently version 1.00, compiled using=
O'Basic 97.028=
..=
There are some limitations to O'Basic 97.  The first is that it binds the script=
file to the interpreter (producing min 400k file).  Secondly, I can't convert all my=
ASM-coded keygens to O'Basic 97, so I include some DOS keygens to this=
program.=

[005 - Installation]
To install Powa Station, unzip PSxxxxxx.ZIP to a folder, maintaining=
its path.=

If you are using Winzip, check on 'Use folder names' when extracting.=
If you are using Pkunzip 2.04x, use the -d option.=
If you are using Pkzip 2.50 (DOS), use the -dir option=

Depending on the version that you have, one or more subfolders will be created=
in the folder where you unzip the contents of the files to.  DO NOT rename or=
modify the subfolders and files in order to ensure the functionality of this=
program.=

To upgrade to a newer version, simply unzip the new files to the same=
folder and overwrite all existing files.=

In most cases, you don't have to install the whole program.  Upgrades usually=
only include a new 'main.dat' file and other external keygens/cracks.=

[150 - Key Generators]
Because I could not convert all my ASM-coded (DOS) keygens to O'Basic, I may=
include some DOS keygens.  To run the keygens, select it from the list box=
on the left and click on the RUN button.=

If it is an internal key generator (written by me), you will be prompted=
with a new window to enter your name and other details.  You can copy the=
output code by highlighting it and press Ctrl-C.  Then you can paste it by=
pressing Ctrl-V.=

If it is an external key generator (written by me in ASM), you will be prompted=
with a new DOS window.=

It it is written by others (either in Win32 ASM or DOS ASM), they will be=
activated automatically when you press the RUN button.=


[200 - Cracks]
Cracks are usually patchers which modify the original files.  They can be found=
in two general forms - 'version specific' and 'generic'.=

Version specific patchers only work if you have the right version of program.=
Generic patchers may work for future versions because it uses the search and=
replace method.  These patchers are also known as scan patch or reg patch.=
..=
In general, version specific patchers are more reliable.=
..=
There are also other cracks, such as loaders which do not modify the files but=
the memory when the files are executed.=
..=
DIY cracks are Do-It-Yourself cracks which give you the necessary information=
to patch the program yourself.  It is similar to generic patchers with more=
flexibility.=

In order to make use of the info, you need to get a hex editor.=
Personally, I recommend Hex Workshop which can be found at www.bpsoft.com=

1.  O'Basic scripting engine is at the heart of 
    AK Powa Station. Created by the efforts of Celtech 
    Software (http://www.celsoft.com), O'basic provides
    a comfortable environment for fast scripting,
    without the need of Win32ASM.

    AK Powa Station provides solution to shareware bugs
    found in most 'Popular' or 'Pick' software at
    Download.com or Softseek.com.

2.  A new WWW menu now allows you to connect to the homepage
    of these buggy sharewares, download those software, and
    fix the bugs with AK Powa Station built-in generator
    programs.

KNOWN ISSUES

1.  AK Powa Station does not provide support for Windows NT.
    It runs only on Win9x systems.

2.  This is still a small collection of bug fixes.  The
    list will grow.

3.  The aim of Powa Station is not to compete with other groups
    i.e. release what other groups have not released.
    It's main goal is to make keygens for existing or new programs
    and make it available in one program/list.  

4.  You should use [BACKSPACE] key to change typing errors.
    Do not use the [<-] or [->] arrow keys, along with
    the [SHIFT] key to highlight and change errors.

5.  AK Powa Station is not 100% bug free.  Report bugs that
    you find at ZOR's discussion board at http://www.zor.org/

AK Powa Station is a program that generates power into
your computer.  It gives you access to lots of software,
which makes your computer alive.

Installation:
------------
To install Powa Station, unzip PSxxxxxx.ZIP to a folder, maintaining
its path.

If you are using Winzip, check on 'Use folder names' when extracting.
If you are using Pkunzip 2.04x, use the -d option.
If you are using Pkzip 2.50 (DOS), use the -dir option

Depending on the version that you have, one or more subfolders will be created
in the folder where you unzip the contents of the files to.  DO NOT rename or
modify the subfolders and files in order to ensure the functionality of this
program.


Upgrading to a newer version:
----------------------------
To upgrade to a newer version, simply unzip the new files to the same
folder and overwrite all existing files.

In most cases, you don't have to install the whole program.  Upgrades usually
only include a new 'MAIN.DAT' file and other external files.

This program is similar to most anti-virus programs that distributes the
'virus definition' (update) files on a regular basis.
