AirNav Version 3.1 represents the most recent programming technology
applied to Aircraft Tracking.
Using this Software the task of tracking aircrafts flying in any part of
the Globe is made easier.
ACARS Realtime Monitoring and Tracking
AirNav is the most sophisticated program to be used by the ACARS
enthusiast.
Compatible with all the current available ACARS decoders (commercial,
shareware and freeware) you will get the most of all ACARS messages
received. And all in realtime!
Each message received will be completely checked and interpreted in order
to give you detailed information on its contents.
Internet Tracking
It is now possible to download updated flight data from the Internet.
With just one mouse click you will be able to download updated data for
more than 300 flight each hour.
You will get on your Screen all the flights that send meteorological
reports not only by voice (HF) but also using AMDAR (by satellite).
Azimuthal Maps
One of the most impressive new features.
You will have spectacular views of the skies, mainly in latitudes higher
or lower than 40 degrees (Europe, USA, North Atlantic and Pacific).
This feature will easily show you why flights between Europe or USA and
the Far East use so many times polar routes.
Using Azimuthal maps and data downloaded from the internet you will be
able to get a very detailed view of intercontinental flights all over the
world.
Electronic Flight Progress Strips
Based on real life ATC centers you will be able to easily get in touch
with all used slots with the new Electronic Flight Progress Strips window.
Older ATC centers still use the classical flight progress strips in paper
but new ATC centers are switching to the easy-to-use Electronic format.
So you will be able to see flight information the same way real-life
controllers do.
Each strip has information on flight number, aircraft type and
registration, flight level, mach, previous and next waypoints and times
over them.
You can sort the strips by many different parameters in order to easily
access each flight.
Using this feature you can easily access Flight Management mode and other
AirNav features with only one mouse click.
