field sample data, and record the results of
laboratory testing of asphalt samples. Generate
reports for internal management and regulatory
compliance. Prepare test reports and summaries
for distribution to clients, consultants,
contractors, suppliers and other relevant
parties.
Projects and Clients: Maintain records for
each client and other parties who need to
receive copies of test reports. Maintain
records for each project, and subproject
where necessary, including references to
clients, care-of parties and other
distribution parties. Include contract
details for invoicing, and select the system
of units to be used for each project. Prepare
detail and summary reports of projects and
clients. These data are common to all other
materials testing report systems provided by
McIntyre Associates.
Suppliers and Sources: Maintain records for
each material supplier and for all material
sources for each supplier.
Asphalt Tests: Maintain records for tests of
asphalt properties for a project. Each
Asphalt test record includes all field
sampling data as well as laboratory test
results. Each test can reference either
Marshall Stability results or Superpave
Gyratory results. Edit of each Asphalt test
includes a display of an Aggregate Sieve
Graph. This example shows the plotted Control
Points and Restricted Zone for a Superpave
Gyratory test sample.
Test Reports: Maintain your own report
templates for the generation of reports for
your clients, other parties and internal use.
Start with the default templates provided and
modify them as necessary using the built-in
full-featured graphical report editor.
Automated Faxing: Use the built-in support
for a third-party fax server product HotFax
Share by SmithMicro Software Inc. to automate
the generation and transmission of faxed
copies of your test reports (Note: - this
product must be purchased separately by you).
