crate digging is a slang term used by DJs to refer to the activity of
checking record stores for old, rare or unusual music on the vinyl format,
which can be used by DJs,turntablists, or be sampled - from wikipedia
drum.crate kicks things off with a huge assortment of vinyl inspired drum
kits for Ableton Live 7. From deep layered bass drums and dynamic snares
to electronic claps, crunchy hi-hats, and zesty cymbals, drum.crate
provides a far-reaching resource for whoÆs seeking to produce original and
futuristic tracks. Included are over 200 MIDI Based Live Clips (Ableton
Live) which serve as starting points and allow for the most flexible
editing of sound material. Lots of the MIDI Grooves were recorded directly
from a Roland V-Drum Kit (without Quantization). As always the grooves
span many genres and can easily be molded and tweaked to suit your style
of Music and Sound while retaining the swing and feel only given by a
super talented drummer. Check out some sound demos.
Also, included with this pack is a collection of Drum Articulation Racks,
the Articulator. The articulations include drum rudiments and playing
styles that quickly add a truly individual touch. Flams, Release Strokes,
Rolls, Fills and Humanization techniques make over quantized tracks sound
far more authentic and the EchoTap adds a further creative dimension to
each separate drum sound. We've also optimized some of the over 60 preset
racks for standard electronic effects, such as static rolls, fills,
stutters and buzzes. The Articulator is presented as four unique flavors -
Psycho Flam, Drum Roll, EchoTap, and Release Stroke. All Articulation
Racks contain, "Info Notes" for all available Macro Controls to allow the
user to easily get to grips with all devices. We feel that drum.crate
combined with Articulator, is a must have set of tools for any Producer
or Artist who is looking for rapid and exceptional results. Don't spend
