The Color Schemer was designed to make it quick and easy to create
harmonious color schemes. Simply select one color
(either by entering RGB or HEX values, picking from a web-safe palette,
or selecting a color from anywhere on screen), and you will be
presented with a set of 16 colors that relate to the selected color.
You may then lighten or darken the color set, add desired colors to the
favorites palette (by right-clicking a color box and selecting
'Add To Favorites'), convert the selected color to its nearest
web-safe match, or copy the HEX value to the clipboard
(accessible by right-clicking on a color). Once colors have been
added to the favorites palette, the window can be made to stay on top
of all other applications (an html editor or graphics program, for example)
so that the HEX & RGB values are always within view.
No more need to switch between programs to find different
color values!
If at any time you wish to revert to a previously selected color,
the history window lists all previously selected colors.
No color is ever "lost," as this feature acts like a multiple undo/redo.
Finally, the colors on the favorites palette can be saved to the hard drive,
allowing you to create multiple color schemes and recall them at a later date.
