Scratchboard is a powerful, yet simple personal organizer. It
allows you to store multiple pieces of text in a "Tree" structure.
Each "Branch" of the Tree has a single piece of text associated
with it which can be easily copied to the clipboard, then pasted
into any other program.
Each Branch can have an unlimited number of child Branches,
allowing your data to be highly organized. This design is perfect
for keeping personal information, maintaining password lists,
storing corporate knowledge, filling out forms, etc. Scratchboard
comes with a complete set of tools for working with the Tree.
It can perform Search or Search And Replace operations on the
entire Tree. Bookmarks provide quick navigation to frequently
used Branches.
Here are some key features of "Scratchboard":
╖ Works with all versions of Windows« 95, 98, NT4, 2000, ME,
XP, and 2003.
╖ Your data is saved in a compact "project" file. You can have as
many of these project files as your hard drive will allow.
╖ The "tree" has a complete set of editing tools: cut, copy, paste,
rename, alphabetize, and much more.
╖ The text editor contains a full set of tools: calendar, calculator,
character map, clipboard manipulation, printing, search/replace,
and much more.
╖ Branch text can easily be copied to the clipboard by double
clicking on the tree. You can even make Scratchboard switch
back to the previous application after a double click - very useful
for filling out forms.
╖ Bookmarks allow you to quickly navigate to frequently used
branches of the tree.
╖ You may perform text searches and search and replace
operations on the entire tree, just one cell, or just on branch
names.
╖ Supports spell checking of a single branch or of the entire tree.
╖ Supports "drag & drop" of text and tree branches.
╖ Project files can be password protected.
