║ RcWall uses a fully graphical interface. What you see is what you are ║

║ calculations are tabulated for quick review and future reference. ║
║ Design of all types of shapes can be performed. Openings can be modeled ║
║ with just a few keystrokes. ║

║ All shear walls can be modeled by entering a pre-defined section or a ║
║ series of shapes. ║
║ RcWall uses an improved coordinate system. A shape is defined by a single ║
║ coordinate, its width, and its height. ║
║ A graphic view of the wall is constantly updated on your desktop. Your ║
║ section can be viewed, zoomed, and printed. ║
║ Reinforcing steel can be added, removed, or revised using your mouse ║
║ button. Steel layers can be added anywhere and anytime. ║
║ Automatic design of all flexural steel is optional. RcWall produces a ║
║ reinforcing schedule ready to paste onto your structural drawings. ║

║ Units can be SI or US customary. All units can be converted back and ║
║ forth at any time. ║
║ Reinforcing bars may use either SI or US designation. Bar types can be ║
║ converted at any time. ║
║ All capacity reduction factors, material resistance factors, and load ║
║ factors can be easily customized. Internal defaults for ACI 318-95 and ║
║ CSA A23.3-94 are just a click away. ║
║ RcWall uses Hognestad concrete stress-strain model. This means that you ║
║ are not limited to square sections only. RcWall data files are fully ║
║ compatible with RcSection 1.0. ║
║ After any design or analysis, RcWall tabulates a summary indicating ║
║ whether your wall appears adequate or not, a status summary of all code ║
║ clauses checked during the analysis, all flexural and shear calculations, ║
║ and a reinforcing and quantity schedule. ║
